How to Make Country Gravy
I have done my own cream gravy for years, and I'm not a fan of lots of onion. But I try to follow any new recipe just as it's written the first time, then 'tweak' it if I choose to make it again. So I used the onions and the cayenne, and put it over biscuits...and it was really good! Next time, I'll probably use less onion, and paprika instead of cayenne, but this was an interesting variation on my 'plain old bacon grease gravy'--thanks for posting this!

Blackberry Cobbler II
Perfect! I followed this recipe because it was designed for wild berries and they taste different than cultured ones. I kept the quantities as written for everything, but I DID add 1 tsp each of cinnamon and vanilla to the dough, and 1 tsp cinnamon to the berries. The top of the dough formed a crust that was more cookie-like than cake-like, but so very tasty!
