I love these! I first ate them at a friend's house as a teenager. I don't put them on buns. I also add mustard and chopped onions to the potatoes before I put them on the hotdogs. Unbelievably tasty!

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Yum! I made this using half the powdered sugar, but it was still great. We sprinkled a little cinnamon on top which made for a pretty presentation. We're going to bring it along to share on Christmas. Thanks for the recipe!

Ice Cream in a Can

This is a fun activity for the kids - especially when camping. To the previous reviewer, the recipe calls for a pasteurized egg (I use Eggbeaters) so you don't have to worry about cooking it.

Cinnamon Ice Cream

I was leary of the amount of cinnamon this recipe called for, but it was perfect. I served the ice cream over grilled pineapple and it was heavenly. I will definitely use this recipe again. Thank you!

Cuban Midnight Sandwich

This was excellent. I only made half the mayo mixture and then only used about half of that. (I also used light mayo). I just don't like that much on my sandwich. I also used Pam to coat the bread before grilling and it worked great. Pickle adds a great flavor. These were really, really good. My kids even loved them! I grilled mine on the George Foreman grill which gave them that "compression" factor. MMMM!

Red Skinned Potato Salad

I took another reviewer's advice and used 1 C sour cream and 1 C light mayonnaise in lieu of 2 C mayo. This was delicious! Although it was really tasty after an hour or so in the fridge, as with all potato salads, it was even better the next day!

Chicken and Bacon Shish Kabobs

The bacon and chicken combination was heavenly. The pineapple was a good addition, too. The mushrooms got a little dried out, but just use whatever veggies you like. It's keeper.

Apple Spice Dump Cake

I made this during a trip to my brother's cabin using a Dutch oven. It turned out really great. Too bad my husband and brother came back late from fishing because we didn't have enough self control to actually save some for them!

Hot Dog a la Potato

I love this recipe. I added some mustard and diced onions to the potatoes to spice it up a bit. If you don't have leftover mashed potatoes, instant potatoes work really well in this.

Butter Tarts II

These were great little tarts! I agree that the cooking time was a little too long. I didn't read all of the reviews before I made them and mine were just a little too brown. I left out the raisins and thought they were wonderful!

Butter Tart Squares

I don't know if I did something wrong, but the crust was overwhelmingly bland to me and too thick. The topping was fine, but I didn't really feel like it was less time consuming than making butter tarts using premade crusts. I won't make this again.
