Ginger Veggie Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2012
This was really easy and really tasty with the fresh ginger but I did not follow the recipe to a "t". I omitted the salt and I'm sure glad I did! Used sesame oil in place of the vegetable oil, added some julienne zucchini and about a tsp of red curry paste at the end. Yummy!

Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2012
I never thought I would say this, but I could give up ground meat burgers in exchange for these! The taste was awesome! I served them on pretzel rolls with a cilantro-lime mayonnaise, fresh tomato and red onion slices. Also, I used dried black beans that I had cooked instead of canned beans. Definitely will make again...and again...

Refried Beans Without the Refry

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2011
Excellent flavor and so easy. I used my submersible blender in lieu of mashing by hand. I shared the recipe with my daughter, who is a busy mother of three and she was blown away. We have both sworn off canned refried beans forever. Thanks ChefClaude!!

Blueberry Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2010
I made this for a business breakfast meeting and it was impressive looking as well as yummy. I used fresh blueberries from our local farmer's market. I think it would be impossible to eat only one piece of this moist, delicious coffee cake, which makes this recipe dangerous!

Cheddar Mushroom Macaroni

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2010
My family absolutely LOVES this dish. Depending on who will be eating it, I do leave out the mushrooms and/or onion to satisfy the kids. It is absolutely failproof.

Cowboy Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2009
These were good right out of the oven but after a few days being stored in an airtight container, they were like hockey pucks.

Balsamic Roasted Pork Loin

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2009
Had this at our Easter Brunch 2009. It was super simple and simply delicious. I did slightly alter the ingredients, however, I used garlic flavored olive oil. We are a family of pork fans and have tried many recipes from this site and this is one of the best.

Mandarin Pork Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2008
The meat was a little too dry to my liking but it is an awesome flavor combination.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2008
Yummy, yummy, YUMMY. My new football half-time favorite. Very easy recipe with just a few ingredients but with an awesome outcome! I had 13oz. cans of chicken meat so I added three 8-oz blocks of cream chees and 1 cup of hot sauce. Also, like other reviewers, I mixed the ranch with half bleu cheese dressing. A great way to enjoy the taste of buffalo wings without all the mess.

Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2008
Awesome appetizer or party food. Very easy to assemble and tastes like a lot more work than it actually is. It was the first thing to go at our Christmas day celebration.

Chocolate Surprise

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2007
These cookies were a dissapointment. I didn't care for the texture of the cookie and the frosting remained a little sticky and gooey even after the cookies had sat for a while. They looked good but were difficult to manage due to the sticky marshmallow and sticky frosting.

Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2007
Super YUMMY!!! So incredibly easy too. Took these to a cookie exchange and they were the first itme to disappear. Everyone was shocked to find out how simple they are to make. I drizzled white chocolate on top for decoration so they were not only delicious, but attractive too!

Shrimp and Crab Bisque

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2007
We had a family get together on a cold Michigan day with several varieties of soups. This Bisque was the BOMB! It was the first to go and everybody was dissapointed that there were no seconds! I followed the recipe with one exception...I also added some lobster meat. Definitely a keeper!

Grilled Pork Rub

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2007
Awesome, Awesome Flavor! Very easy recipe using ingredients that are common staples in my pantry. I cooked a 14 lb loin for about 2.5 hours on the rotisserie of my gas grill. The roast was moist and delicious...a huge hit at our picnic. I am making it on Father's Day per my husbands request!

Clark's Quiche

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2007
This is an excellent quiche recipe. When it says it makes two 9-inch pies that is no exaggeration. My pie plates were filled to the top. I love spinach, but wasn't sure how this would be received by some of my picky eaters...I guess the fact that there was not one bite left confirms that this recipe is a winner! I had to increase the baking time by about 15 minutes and keep an eye that the crust didn't burn but other than that...Bon Appetit!!!

Cobb Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2007
I love ordering Cobb Salad at restaurants but the fresh salad at home was even more fabulous. I put some boneless chicken breast in a garlic flavored italian dressing in the morning and threw them on the grill while chopping up all the other ingredients. This one is a bit time-consuming in the prep department but the finished product is well worth it. Tasty and a beautiful presentation with all the colors and textures!

Easy and delicious...what more can you ask for in a recipe. I had unexpected guests the night I prepared this and everyone loved it. I served it with a green salad and some rice cooked in chicken broth with fresh chives added. YUMMY!

Grilled Teriyaki Tuna

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2007
I left the Tuna steaks in the marinade mixture overnight and found the meat to be extremely salty tasting. I followed all other directions to the letter. My family did not enjoy this preparation at all.

Tasty Tender Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2006
I made this recipe in the slow cooker and let it simmer on low all day. (Approx. 10 hours) It was absolutely delicious. The aroma was wonderful and the meat was fork tender and juicy! The leftovers were used to make a yummy tortilla wrap!

I made this for a brunch celebration and the guests could not stop raving. It was very easy to assemble the night before and worry-free the day of brunch. I would definitely make this one again and again.
