Beer Butt Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2010
Very Good. I cooked in the oven (350) for about 2 hours. I also stuffed the neck with foil and sprayed the can with non-stick spray. I will definitely make again and will try with different spices as well. Thanks

Love this - I've made it a few times now and can't get over how the flavors blend so well together. Thanks

Slow Cooker Thanksgiving Turkey

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2010
This is a really good way to be able to make turkey for less than a crowd. It is only hubby and I and I used a small turkey breats which came out perfectly. I imagine you could tweak this a little to your liking as well. I think I will try to spice it up a bit next time. Thanks

Turkey Pot Pie I

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2010
I thought it was kind of bland - not that you can do much with leftover turkey but this really didn't have much taste.

Easy Arugula Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2010
Nice and easy with a good taste. We don't care for avocado so I did not use that but the rest was good together

Not a bad taste. I think I will try this with different kinds of sausage as well.

Zucchini and Potato Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2010
While we really liked the taste of this, my zucchini was mushy while the potatoes were almost just right. I would have liked to cook a little more to make the potatoes even more crunchy but because of the zucchini I had to take it out. I will make this again but in the future I will probably use EITHER potatoes or veggies but not combine them. Having said all that, I added parm cheese as well and we did enjoy the taste of the dish. Thanks

Addictive Pumpkin Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2009
These were pretty good and easy to make. I needed something to make to use up the rest of my pumpkin and I cut this recipe down and it worked out fine.

Garlic-Cheese Flat Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2009
This was good but I think next time I will use cresent rolls/dough to make it flaky as I felt the pizza dough I use was flat. Other than that, it was pretty good.

Baked Haddock

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2009
I'd say this about 4 1/2 stars because it is quick and easy, has a good taste as is, and can be easily changed with different spices and such. I love fish and am trying to get away from always going out for seafood dishes and getting away from fried foods. Thanks.

This was fairly quick and pretty good. I've used a slightly different version before that is a little bit better.

Gyros Burgers

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2009
These were pretty good. Not quite the gyros we get at the local restaurant but it still had a good taste to it.

Rosemary Pasta in Roasted Garlic Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2009
I liked it enough but hubby didn't care for it so it gets 4 stars. I don't think he is too keen on rosemary but maybe made with another herb would be good for him.

Spicy Chili French Fries

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2009
I liked the way these tasted but have to work on getting the crisp just right. I think the temp needs to be higher so I'll try that but the taste is good.

Marinated Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2009
I liked the flavor and the way they fell off the bone. I had mine in the oven a little longer as I was waiting for company so it made them crispier by default but I think I would put them under the broiler otherwise as we prefer them crispier.

Cajun Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2009
I did like the taste of the chicken. I had it in a sandwich with pepper jack cheese and that almost took away from the flavor. I think next time I will try these in a wrap with either chedder or montery jack cheese. I also need to find a "spread" for them that will not take away from the chicken. I will try again and experiement with different things - thanks for the recipe.

Grilled Roasted Red Pepper and Ham Sandwich

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2009
This was a nice simple sandwich that hubby kept saying how much he really liked it. I used a scalia bread which worked well. I melted the butted and spread it on with a brush and then sprinkled the parm cheeese on. The next time I would like to try a different spread than just mayo, maybe with some herbs mixed in. Thanks
