Angela's Awesome Enchiladas

Not bad but for me it just took a bit long to make and get all the ingredients together and working. I have a similar recipe for empenada filling but it is much easier ti put together so I will probably try to use that to make enchiladas next time. Having said all that, the flavors were pretty good together and I would encourage you to make the recipe as is and see for yourself.

Sausage Jalapeno Poppers

Nice easy popper recipe however I did use shredded cheddar cheese as we do not like a cream cheese popper. Idea and prep and can be suited to anyone's personal taste.

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Hubby and I really loved this dish and it was simple to make. The only change I made was to use penne paste instead of linguine. I will definitely make again.

Cajun Style Meatloaf

This meatloaf was pretty good and had some good flavors. I had to use chorizo in place of the sausage as I couldn't find any around here. I would adjust the spices just a bit to give it a little more heat but other than that I will make again.

These came out great even when I made a mistake and included the egg yolk into the recipe. They were dense and sift in the middle and great for dipping into oil and soups.

Garlic Steak with Garlic

This is a tough one for me to rate and I'll tell you why. I've tried this recipe exact as it is a few times now and for some reason, I don't seem to get a good garlic taste from the marinated meat itself (have used a few different cuts as well). While I can add some of the garlic oil as directed at the end, which makes it tastes better, it seems like the marinating is extra work for not enough payback. I would prefer to cook a good steak and add some garlic butter to the top of it then go through all these steps. Having said all of this though, I LOVE this garlic oil for bread dipping. I have made it for that purpose and added herbs to it and it is amazing for that. So, I have given the recipe 4 stars because of that but I do think that others should try the full recipe version to see what they think.

Chimichurri Sauce

Easy Cheesy Tuna Casserole

I made this pretty much as is and while I liked the texture and creaminess of it, I did not like the mushroom soup taste that I got from it. We would prefer a milder taste in our house so Ill try again but will use cream of chicken soup next time.

Asian Beef Skewers

I used the marinade as is on Sirloin steak tips as my grocer did not have any flank steak this week and we were pleased with the taste. The marinade was not difficult and I let it set 24 hours and it was not over powering either. Will make again.

Baked Pork Chops I

We liked these but we do not bake with the gravy but rather just use it as a sauce at the end. This leaves the chops a little crispier which is what we preferred. The flavors of everything is good as is for us.

Marinated Flank Steak

A decent easy marinade. This is a good version for when you don't want a marinade whose flavors are too strong. It is a good subtle flavor that adds to the meat rather than becomes the flavor of the meat as with some other stronger marinades.

Beer Batter Fish Made Great

This wasn't the type of beer batter that I had expected because it was quite thin. The taste was pretty good though so I may try it again and make it thicker, not sure but it just didn't work as is for us
