Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

Love this dressing. I used 1/4 cup olive oil and 2 TB of red wine vinegar, other ingredients were the same. Serving choice was 6.

Bar Stool Pretzels

I used one box of the Snyder's big pretzels, one cup of butter and a envelope of onion soup mix crushed. Melted the butter in a pan, stirred the soup mix in and poured over the pretzles. Baked at 250 for 1 1/2 hours, stirring every 1/2 hour.

Beef Mushroom Barley Soup

used about a pound of beef stew meet, cut up in tiny pieces. 2 cups of barley, 2 onions, lots of carrots, 3-8oz boxes of sliced mushrooms, 2 tsp minced garlic, 8 cups beef broth,2 cans tiny diced tomatoes, 2 TB tomatoe paste, 1 TB worshitshire, 1 tsp balsamic vinegar, 1 tsp dried thyme, 2 tsp salt, bunch of pepper, about a 1/2 cup red wine, 6 cups of spinach. **If you use the 2 cups of barley add another carton of beef broth or cut the barley to 1 cup and only use 2 cartons of broth. barley really soaked up the liquid.

Grandma Carlson's Turkey Pot Pie

Used pie crust from Pillsbury! Needed to let the chicken broth cook down more then I did, when served it was a bit runny. Next day was perfect. Used peas instead of green beans. Each step took longer then what the recipe stated.

very good - added an onion and green pepper to the ground beef. Depending on who is eating it, add a jalepeno and or cayenne pepper.

Broccoli-Cauliflower Salad

used 2 cups broccoli 2 cups cauliflower 1 Cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese 12 slices of bacon about 1/2 of a red onion 1 cup mayo 1/2 cup white sugar 2 Tablespoons white wine vinegar sprinkled sunflower seeds perfect!

Sausage Barley Soup

Fabulous Soup - Can't wait to have it again. I used ground hot italian sausage, skipped the carrot, added a package of sliced fresh mushrooms, extra barley and about 1/4 cup red wine. Sprinkled parmeson cheese in bowl before serving. Also, cooked it on the stove. Better the second day. Delicious!
