French Bread Rolls to Die For

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2012
They were fabulous and so easy to make. The only thing I may do differently next time is add some sesame seeds on top and perhaps make a loaf instead of rolls. This is a keeper.

Sweet Vanilla Cupcakes

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2013
This was my first time making cupcakes from scratch...These were perfect - just the right amount for 12 with a nice rounded top when baked. I follwed the recipe to a "T" The whole family loved them. Thank you for sharing.

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2012
This was so easy and the end result is so much tastier than a packet! The only change was I did not use the red pepper because of the kids and regular salt instead of sea salt. Once you try it you won't use packets anymore either!

Viennese Crescent Holiday Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2012
I loved these cookies. I swapped the vanilla for almond extract and used almonds instead. You do not need to measure out the powdered sugar for coating... Just coat to taste I just used a strainer and dusted the tops and probably only used 3 Tablespoons. 1 word of caution do not rush this cookie, the dough has to rest in the fridge for at least 45 minutes or it will not hold it's shape in the oven. Well worth the wait just like Grandma's ,they melt in your mouth.

Strawberry Cheesecake Bites

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2012
These were awesome! To cut calories I used Equal instead of sugar and low fat cream cheese. I crushed cinnamon graham crackers instead if plain ones. Next time I will dip in chocolate...Yummm!

No Fail Pound Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2012
I followed the recipe except for the lemon extract an this came out really good...I love the fact it started out as your typical box cake. I topped mine withe powdered sugar and cinnamon. I used baking spray and it was done in just under 1 hr. Next time I think I will use the butter cake mix as others had suggested and double the vanilla. The family loved it!

These were really good! The only thing I did differently was use my own leftover sauce, and add a couple of slices of Provolone on top with the mozzarella. No leftovers!

Creamy Hot Chocolate

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2011
Made this tonite for the kids. We loved it! I did not put in the vanilla but followed the rest to a T. A little sweet but next time I will do as others suggested and add some whole milk. No need for packets anymore!

Candy cane sugar scrub

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2011
Luv it. I made this for a gift exchange this year. Two things to keep in mind. Make sure the jar seals tightly. When making this the white sugar looked brownish when the oil and honey were mixed in so I decided to alternate with the two colors. It was still pretty. I made one for myself and my skin feels great. A good stress reliever. I will make it again.

I love stuffed peppers and this gives you the same taste without all the work. The family loved it. I added some minced onion and garlic powder based on others reviews but followed the other spicing exactly. We will make this again.

Refried Beans Without the Refry

Reviewed: May 7, 2013
These were really good. I wish I had listed to other reviews and not added the salt until later as they were a little tough - but I will know for next time. The flavor was great without the calories. I think I will add a little more jalapeno and some sour cream next time but this is definitely a keeper.
