Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2014
Like most, I ran out of pancake mix and decided to give this a try. These were delicious! I followed suggestions by other reviewers and reduced the salt and I added vanilla. I also added more milk as we like thinner pancakes in our house. The kids loved them, I made some plain and some with blueberries. Thanks for a great recipe!

Hot Pizza Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2012
This was super easy and soooo good. My hubby almost licked the plate clean! Like a couple of users I popped it in the oven for about 10 min. to finish it. I put some bread in our panini maker and then cut them in strips for dipping. Perfect for a potluck or a late night snack that does not require a lot of work.

Lamb Chops with Balsamic Reduction

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2013
We love lamb and Balsamic in our house so this seemed like it would be worth a try. It was delicious! Followed the recipe to a "T" except for the shallots(I did not have any so I mixed some minced red onion with some minced garlic.) We will definitely make this again.

Sweet And Sour Glazed Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2012
We have made this in our family for years...the only difference is we use fresh sliced onions instead of soup mix. This is so yummy you will be spooning the sauce over bread...yumm! You MUST use the wishbone russian dressing..not a vinagrette. Also if using boneless chicken make sure to keep basting so they don't dry out or just turn them over frequently.

Chocolate Ganache

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2013
WOW! Decadant is the word that best describes this! I use semi sweet chocolate chips and no rum. I used this to cover cream puffs and the remainder to dip strawberries in. Sooo easy but sooo worth it. Thanks for a great recipe.

We made these for Superbowl Sunday...they were fantastic and really easy. I rinsed the wings with lemon and let it soak for about five minutes before coating with flour to help tenderize the meat. Followed the recipe to a T. Yum!

Old Fashioned Onion Rings

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2012
I loved this the batter/breading was the perfect amount. I did as others suggested and used two bowls with lids to reduce the mess. I used a mix of panko and italian bread crumbs. Delish...better deep fried than baked though...I sprinkled with salt after they were cooked.

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2013
This was delicious and so easy. The only change was I used fresh chopped garlic which I sauted in the butter before adding the other ingredients. I am just amazed that cream cheese is one of the main ingredients! I think I may try whipped cream cheese next time so that when it cools slightly it may not be so thick.

No Fail Pound Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2012
I followed the recipe except for the lemon extract an this came out really good...I love the fact it started out as your typical box cake. I topped mine withe powdered sugar and cinnamon. I used baking spray and it was done in just under 1 hr. Next time I think I will use the butter cake mix as others had suggested and double the vanilla. The family loved it!

It's Chili by George!!

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2013
This was a hit in our house. My only mistake was making 6 servings instead of 10! I followed the spicing exactly but added the following 1 TB yellow mustard, 1 teas worcheshire sauce, 1/2 teas garlic powder. I also subbed crushed tomatoes for the tomato sauce as we like a thicker chili. This one is a keeper.
