Zucchini Oven Frittata

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2012
I made this last Sunday for brunch...I made some slight changes...I did not use the water, I used nonstick cooking spray and butter. I replaced green peppers with red peppers for color and left out the mushrooms. The whole family loved it and we will make this again.

Beef Barley Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2012
I did this on the stovetop and used beef stew meat instead of pot roast. I also did not use frozen veggies. This was simple, delicious, warm and filling to serve on a cool day. I served it with warm bread. We will make this again.

French Bread Rolls to Die For

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2012
They were fabulous and so easy to make. The only thing I may do differently next time is add some sesame seeds on top and perhaps make a loaf instead of rolls. This is a keeper.

Real Hummus

Reviewed: May 6, 2012
A good starter recipe. I did the following adjustments. I did not add any salt or pepper, used 2 cloves of garlic, a half of a jalapeno seeded, and used 2 heaping TB of tahini. I did not add olive oil. I also squeezed juice of 1/2 of a lemon. garnished with sumac, and slivered almonds sauteed in olive oil, and fresh cucumbers and tomatoes.

Strawberry Cheesecake Bites

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2012
These were awesome! To cut calories I used Equal instead of sugar and low fat cream cheese. I crushed cinnamon graham crackers instead if plain ones. Next time I will dip in chocolate...Yummm!

Rainbow Clown Cake

My aunt used to make something similar when I was a kid. I used food coloring instead lf paste or gel...and I started checking it early so it would not dry out. Everyone loved it and so pretty!

Hot Pizza Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2012
This was super easy and soooo good. My hubby almost licked the plate clean! Like a couple of users I popped it in the oven for about 10 min. to finish it. I put some bread in our panini maker and then cut them in strips for dipping. Perfect for a potluck or a late night snack that does not require a lot of work.

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2012
The soup was good but personally I thought the buttery flavor was too prevalent and I only used half of what the recipe called for. I prefer a lemony taste with my chicken...Good soup just not my cup of tea.

Country Cinnamon Swirl Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2012
I have made this two times now...the family loves it. While it is best fresh out of the oven..it does hold up well, if there are any leftovers. So quick and easy, for the cinnamon mixture I followed others suggestions and used brown suger instead of white.

Sweet And Sour Glazed Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2012
We have made this in our family for years...the only difference is we use fresh sliced onions instead of soup mix. This is so yummy you will be spooning the sauce over bread...yumm! You MUST use the wishbone russian dressing..not a vinagrette. Also if using boneless chicken make sure to keep basting so they don't dry out or just turn them over frequently.

The was my first try making these. The flavor was good the family loved them...but mine cracked too much. I started out at 10min but ended up at 7min. I think my oven was too hot. Instead of kisses I used hersheys hearts and reeses PB filled hearts. Yummy.

We made these for Superbowl Sunday...they were fantastic and really easy. I rinsed the wings with lemon and let it soak for about five minutes before coating with flour to help tenderize the meat. Followed the recipe to a T. Yum!
