Monte Cristo Sandwich - the Real One

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2011
Of course when cooking something like this, you're not doing it to be healthy. It's all about taste and reliving that savory moment which brought you to this recipe. With that being said, I used three slices of each meat... and it was like I was at the restaurant. Every bite just urged me to want to cram in one bite after another.

Eggnog Cheesecake III

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2011
Well, when I made this, I bought graham crackers and grounded them up the hard way... not doing that again. Also, when I did this recipe I didn't have any springform pans, so I used a regular pie pan - which pretty much work except I could've used some more crust base... also, I plan on using a tad more butter for my crust since most of it was still a bit loose. -- For the creamcheese filling, I used about 50% more eggnog, 2x rum, a dash of nutmeg instead of a pinch, and about the same with cinnamon (which I added) -- -- For the results, it turned out Absolutely AMAZING. I had SO much more creamcheese mix than I knew what to do with it, so I put as much as I could on it before throwing it in the oven... and the rest I stored away in a small butter bowl. It rose beautifully. The cake was light, creamy, fluffy, smooth, and just down right heavenly. -- And considering how I only had a single slice & any and all trace remains were nowhere to be found, I think my family thought the same. -- Next time I will either use two pans, or I'll try and use a springform pan to see how well that'll work. -- Thank You Bill Sinclair!!!!

Kielbasa Stew

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2011
At first I thought I'd double the amount of kielbasa (since our family loves our meats), but after putting in the water, tomato soup, and broth - I realized why the recipe only called for 1lb of it. So I decided to double the recipe - leave out the salt (since the sausage and broth already had so much of it) - added 5 medium sized russet potatoes - added about a tablespoon of cumin - and a dash of louisiana hot sauce... and as an end result, Absolutely Delicious!!! Can't wait to have more for dinner tomorrow ^_^ !!!

Meatball Nirvana

Reviewed: May 26, 2011
While the meatballs turned out tastey, I was somewhat dissatisfied that they tasted like meatloaf. If I try this again, I'll prolly try a few differences with spices -more of this, less of that-... and I'll also leave out the breadcrumbs and eggs(milk substitute).

Alice Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2011
Fairly simple and Fairly decent. I used tad bit more worchestershire sauce (some things i measure visually) and only half of the dressing. Came out delicious and paired nicely with some jalapeno poppers for like a southwesterny meal. Might consider adding some onions next time.
