Garlic Cheese Grits with Shrimp

This turned out great! I had a similar recipe in Charleston on a business trip and had a craving for this very dish. I did vary from the recipe by adding processed cheese (velvetta) instead of garlic cheese. The shrimp mixture was plenty garlicy by itself. A definite keeper!

Fettuccine Alfredo with Peas and Prosciutto

This recipe turned out good. I had to use twice as much corn starch to make it the right consistancy. I would recommend using only a pinch of nutmeg (it was a little too strong). I also used more prosciutto which I would not recommend since it has such an overpowering flavor. Overall a good recipe.

My husband and I loved this recipe! We love spicy food and this hit the spot! Warning: this recipe is even a little too spicy for us so I will not put so much cayenne pepper next time.
