Banana Slush Punch

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2010
Made this for a baby shower and it was a big hit. Like others, I only used 1-1/2 cups of sugar. I made a double-batch and served one but when more was needed, I pulled one bag out of the freezer for about 20 minutes and then kneeded it a bit and added it to the bowl with a litre of ginger ale.

So easy to make and so yummy. Something different from our usual chocolate cookies. My 8 year old has been pestering me to make this recipe again and friends ask for the recipe.

Black Bean Pasta

Very yummy. Very easy to make. I did follow other's suggestions and use more tomato sauce. The only other change was that I had to use garlic powder (no fresh garlic). Thanks for the recipe!

Juicy Peach Crisp

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2009
Very easy and very yummy. Doubled the recipe and put it in a 13 x 9 inch pan. Used my handy food processor to mix the toppings. Only a few minor variations: used vanilla extract because I didn't have any almond extract and I didn't peel the peaches. I would definitely make this again.

Kona Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2006
Picky husband loved it! My 5 year old preferred the sauce over ketchup (a first)! I thickened the sauce and served over the chicken. Used split chicken breast w/bone & skin (removed skin before serving). Will add to our list of regular features. Will freeze wine so I have it available next time.

Garlic Chicken

I can't believe how yummy this was and how easy it was to make. Even left-overs tasted great. I warmed the olive oil and fresh garlic in the microwave for 30 seconds. Thanks for the recipe!

Sweet and Sour Meatloaf

Reviewed: May 4, 2004
This recipe is so easy. We like it saucy so I doubled the sauce recipe and it improved this already yummy recipe. My 3-year old loves it as well as my husband. Made it for company and received rave reviews.

Leftover Turkey Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2002
We liked this a lot even though we made some changes (due to what we had in the cupboard). We used cream of chicken soup instead of celery soup, onion/mushroom soup mix instead of onion soup mix. We found that it seemed to need more stuffing so we doubled the stuffing recipe. Pretty quick and easy to make.
