Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2011
I change the serving size to 100 and it makes enough to fill a pint jar. I store it in the pantry and when I'm making tacos use 2 Tablespoons instead of a store bought packet. Make sure you like the taste of the chili powder you are using. There's so much of it, that it can really alter the taste. I've made this recipe 3 times and it had a different flavor every time.

Brisket with BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2004
I can't believe how good this recipe it. I followed the directions exactly. It was absolutely delicious. I'm thinking of making it again tomorrow! The first one just disappeared too fast. I will definitely make it next time I have company over. Thanks so much Cathy for sharing this great recipe with all of us!

Buttermilk Pound Cake II

It made a huge cake! It tasted good but fell apart when I took it out of the pan.

Slow Cooker Lasagna

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2003
Very good. I liked the consistency. I did have some problems with burning on the bottom. If you're home while it's cooking you need to stir periodically.

Freezer Caramel Drizzle Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2003
As my 10 year old would say----"This pie was the Bomb!" It was delicious and oh so easy. I had to make dessert for a thing at church. I took one pie and put the other one in the freezer and forgot about it. I can't believe that pie sat in my freezer without being eaten!!! That will never happen again. I will be making this again---definitely!

Chicken Sandwich Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2003
It was okay, but I don't think I'll make it again. There was a lot of leftovers and it wasn't that great heated over.

Becki's Oven Barbecue Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2003
The homemade sauce was great. I made extra sauce just to have in the frig. Next time I'll try is with breasts and thighs instead of wings.

Crawfish Fettuccine I

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2003
This was very good. I'm from Louisiana and have eaten my fair share of crawfish fettucine and this was really great. I left out the cayenne pepper so it wouldn't be too, too spicy. But I used the called for amount of cajun seasoning. I think next time I make it I'll use a different type of pasta----maybe thin spaghetti or linguine. Last time I made it I put it in the slow cooker for a work potluck, and it was better than baked. I didn't cook the noodles and put it on high for 3 hours. Much creamier than baking.

Cinnamon Rolls I

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2002
They were very good. The dough was not sticky and easy to work with. If you like them gooey, double the caramel recipe.

Cinnamon Rolls III

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2002
These are delicious. They took me about three hours to make though. I had a terrible mess afterwards, too. (They rose up bigger than my bread machine and dough went everywhere.) I'll only be making them for special occasions.
