Cinnamon Rolls I

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2002
These were lovely and soft. I made a simple butter, light brown sugar and cinnamon filling and did not make the sauce. Also, I added a powdered sugar and butter frosting. I took some to work three weeks ago and they were gone in an hour. We are having a bake sale next week and I have had SEVEN requests so far for them. They are a hit! Yummmm!!

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2002
This is the best white bread ever!! It has a lovely crumb and is not too soft. I make it into rolls and my family can't keep away. They are my biggest request! The sweetness is perfect with savory and sweet fillings. Makes two good sized loafs and 48 dinner rolls. A keeper!

Honey Wheat Bread I

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2002
I had to add more flour than it calls for, and it makes two medium loafs. I do not use a pan, but make rustic loafs out if it and the crust is so good. I also add some 7-grain cereal from the bulk section of the health food store.

Peasant Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2002
I was unsure of a bread with no fat, but since I am watching my weight and love (and we are talking addicted) bread I gave it a shot. I am so happy that I did. This bread does not lack in flavor and texture. It is one of the best basic white breads I have made. I am so glad to have found this and so is my diabetic father!! Many thanks!!!

Almost No Fat Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2002
This is one of the better low-fat banana breads I have made. I use 1/4 c of light brown sugar and 2/4 c splenda to further lighten it up. I have also used 1 c mashed fresh peaches instead of bananas and it was so good, and my picky peach loving diabetic father was so pleased!! Bravo!!

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2002
My husband and I enjoyed this crust very much. I added a little garlic and onion powder to the mix and put it in the bread machine. I baked it on my pizza stone and it was perfect. It was crusty and chewy on the outside and soft and yummy on the inside. It made two large sized thin pizzas. We have plenty for dinner today, too!!his may be the recipe we use for all our pizza!!
