Brownie Tarts

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2007
I was very impressed with this recipe....it actually tastes like a chewy fudgy brownie in a mini pie form. My variation was to skip the cherry and to top them off with toasted coconut and drizzled with caramel. I had no problems working with the dough unlike a previous user and I disagree with the idea of needing sugar in the crust, it is supposed to be like a pie crust and you don't put sugar in a pie crust. My only problem with this recipe is that it doesn't make nearly as many servings as it claims to. I was able to get just 18 small servings out of the recipe. I look forward to making this again and trying out new variations!

Tomato-Cream Sauce for Pasta

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2007
My family did not care for this at all, in fact it got thrown out! The sauting of the onions made it WAY too sweet, I even cut down on the amount of onion and sugar to start with. The texture of the sauce was quite gross....I've had creamy tomato sauces before and LOVED them....this wasn't even close. Will not use again.

Stuffed Tomato Basil Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2007
This recipe had good flavor but was difficult to keep together. Not easy to slice the chicken breasts evenly, the bacon slipped off and burned, and flipping the chicken breast was a nightmare (the insides fell all over). I used roma tomatoes(great flavor and hold together well) and pesto sauce instead of basil. Next time I make this I will use more cheese inside and tie the breasts closed with some kitchen twine to make flipping easier.

Garlic Potatoes Gratin

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2007
Absolutely fabulous! My family couldn't get enough of it....I left the peels on the potatoes, adds some color and nutrition that way. I also added more gouda since it is my favorite cheese. Will make again and again! Thank you so much for this recipe!

Ultimate Cheese Spread

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2002
I love this recipe and make it all the time. But I alter it a little by adding more processed cheese and cream cheese. Otherwise it is a little too buttery.
