Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs
This was the first time I cooked anything that wasn't dessert. Both the meatballs and the sauce are very easy to make. If you want more flavor in your meatballs, this recipe gives you a lot of room for customization. The reviewers that rated these as bland and flavorless must've done something wrong. I am a 24 yo graduate student, whose life is spent between books, and not recipe books, so, until I tried this recipe, I honestly thought I couldn't cook, and they came out REALLY GOOD. The sauce is very flavorful, and you can either put in chunky tomatoes or you can add the whole peeled tomatoes and put them in a blender before adding the meatballs, after the first simmer. Also, I didn't simmer the sauce for 90 minutes, I simmered it for an hour and then added the meatballs to simmer for 30 more minutes. They were cooked to perfection. Definitely this is gonna be my go to spaghetti sauce with meatballs recipe.

Satiny Chocolate Glaze
Tried it, and loved it. It has a bitter-sweet taste that balances out any sweetness in the cake. And, it's very very easy to make. You don't need the double boiler. I just filled a sauce pan with water and placed a smaller one on top of it to melt the chocolate chips and the rest of the ingredients in, while the water was warming up.

Too Much Chocolate Cake
I changed the Devil's Food for Dark Chocolate cake, and turned out very good. This is a good recipe if you like a gooey consistency. The cup of oil wasn't a problem at all, but I think I left it to much in the oven 'cause every time it "finished" baking, the tooth pick never came out clean (I guess it was because of the melted chocolate chips in the center). The Satiny Chocolate Glaze gives a pleasant bitter-sweet touch to the sweetness of the cake. I am definitely gonna try it again, it's like chocolate fudge brownies turned into cake.
