Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak
My husband loved this! The plan was to cook exactly by the recipe but due to time and ingredient availability I ended up changing it a bit. As per other reviews, I used cr. of mushroom instead of cr. of chicken because that's what I had on hand. I also could not find the au jus mix (I may not have known where to look) so I used brown gravy mix exactly as it said to use the au jus mix. All other ingredients stayed the same. I made this for 4 instead of 8 and due to forgetting to put it in the crock pot, I ended up cooking it in a skillet. Things just don't always go as planned. It tasted great and was easy enough to make. I'm making it again tonight and I think the only thing I will change is crunching up the onion soup mix so it's a bit finer. I wasn't a fan of crunching into the dried onion bits in my meat. The flavor was good, I just didn't like the texture. Loved how tender it turned out and both my 2 year old and husband ate every bit. Definitely recommend trying this recipe. (even if I didn't follow it exactly)

Lemon Cream Pasta with Chicken
LOVE this recipe. It is one of my new favoritesand my family loves it too. The first time I made it, I followed the recipe exactly. It turned out too "lemony" for my taste so the next time I made it I left out the lemon zest and it turned out perfect. Just so you know, I am able to get 1/4 cup of lemon juice using about 2 large lemons. I buy 3 lemons for the whole thing. I've also varied the amount of chicken based on what was available (anywhere from 2-3 regular chicken breasts) and it turned out just fine. I also use whatever pasta I have on hand. I would recommend trying it!
