These were not very good to me. The marshmallow layer was too 'tough' (after being in the fridge for 2 hours to firm up the chocolate/PB layer) and the chocolate/peanut butter/Rice Krispy layer had a strange texture that was very unappetizing... and very messy to eat. I will not try to make this again.

E-Z Drop Biscuits

Oh wow, these are SO GOOD! I started looking for a drop biscuit recipe after I discovered my box of Bisquick was full of bugs... eew. These are so easy to make, I'll be sticking with this recipe from now on! Like everyone else has said, they are light and fluffy and tasty!

Cookies 'n Cream Cake

If this cake attracts any attention, it must be solely because of the novelty of a cookies 'n cream cake. Taste-wise, it was not very good. I doubled the amount of cookie the recipe calls for, and I couldn't taste any at all. It was sweet, and that's about it.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Wonderful soup! When I am feeling lazy, I use a country gravy mix, prepared (2 cups) instead of making the white sauce.

Walnut Pumpkin Pie

Absolutely delicious. This will be my go-to pumpkin pie recipe from now on. I didn't have any walnuts so I used chopped pecans, and it was excellent.

Baptist Grasshopper Pie

This was okay, I wasn't particularly impressed. BUT... mint extract is 89% alcohol, while creme de menthe is 15% alcohol, so I can't understand why they say this recope does not contain alcohol. ALL extracts (including vanilla) contain alcohol!

Cake Balls

Pretty good... though they remind me of Little Debbie snack cakes. I used almost an entire 24-oz pkg of almond bark to dip all the cake balls in.

Chocolate Mint Dessert Brownies

The toppings were good, but the brownie itself was bland and not at all impressive. I'll use the topping again sometime, but with a fudge-type brownie. And for those of you who want to use mint extract instead of creme de menthe because you "don't drink alcohol"- be advised that mint extract is 89% alcohol. Creme de menthe is 15% alcohol.

Good Burger

Too sweet (my 10-year-old son would not eat them), and though I chopped up the onion very fine, the patties still fell apart and crumbled all over the place. If I ever make it again, I'll leave out the brown sugar, and add an egg to keep them from falling apart.

Veronica's Apple Pancakes

These pancakes were dense and rather bland. I tripled the cinnamon and there still wasn't much taste... I think a bit of salt (maybe 1/2 tsp) would help the flavor a lot.

Pasta Lasagna

Delicious! This is a new family favorite!! I do not have a 2.5 qt (approx 11x7) baking dish, so I increased the amount of penne to 1 lb, and ground beef to 1 lb to make it fit into a 13x9 pan.

Amish White Bread

This bread was absolutely fantastic. I mixed the dough in my Kitchenaid stand mixer and let it knead in there for 3-4 minutes instead of kneading it by hand. Also, for the rising, I followed Alton Brown's suggestion of pouring boiling water into a shallow baking dish placed in the bottom of a cold oven, and placing the dough in the makeshift "proofing box". The bread came out with a wonderfully smooth and light texture, not at all dense and crumbly like typical homemade bread.

Best Ever Chocolate Cutout Cookies

I'm giving this recipe an "average" of 4 stars... 5 stars because the cookies were delicious, and 3 stars because they crumbled all over the place as I tried to remove them from the baking sheet.
