Overall pretty good. The bacon did not get crispy though. Maybe would be better to wait to add the sauce so the bacon could get crisp, or precook the bacon some. Next time I want to try putting sun dried tomatoes inside instead of chives.

Raspberry Oatmeal Bars

My family did not care for these. I used lemon cake mix, like other reviewers suggested. These taste was kinda artificial. Seemed like some ingredients were missing, just didnt taste right.

Best Carrot Cake Ever

I made this recipe for Easter. It turned out perfectly. There was enough batter to make three 9 inch layers. I used the Cream Cheese Frosting II recipe & there was plenty to frost it all. BUT...I had trouble slicing through the finished cake. It is so dense that the pressure of slicing a piece made the icing come out of the layers. (It was even refrigerated overnight.) The density also makes this cake VERY filling. I believe it would be better overall to make this into a sheet cake with no layers & ice only the top. It is very tasty, but not the BEST I've ever had.

Yogurt Chicken

This was pretty good. It wasn't as crispy as I had hoped, but about as good as it gets for oven-baked. It was very tender. The yogurt-lemon combination sounds weird at first, but I think it tastes like buttermilk. For oven-fried nuggets, this is a good pick for the whole family.

This turned out wonderfully! It makes a lot of soup. We really enjoyed it. Lots of fresh vegetables. I cooked mine on low for probably 5 hours.

Chocolate Candy Bar Cake

Very good and easy cake to make. I took this to a neighborhood party and there was none left! I also had requests for the recipe. If you like cream cheese or whipped cream this is a good one to try. I used Hersheys with almonds candy bars.

Seven Layer Taco Dip

I think this is a great recipe, you can adjust it many ways to suit your own tastes. I omitted the shredded lettuce and tomatoes when I made this. ALL of it was eaten!!! It is addictive. It is very mild though. Next time I would use medium salsa, or jalapenos, or some hot sauce to liven it up a bit.

Be Prepared Five-Bean Soup Mix

My family and I really liked this soup. It was easy to prepare - just put it in a crock pot and let go. I added some pork stew beef to this. It was very good.

Chicken and Corn Chili

Best Hot Crab Dip

I made this for my work Christmas party and had a ton of leftovers. I thought it was great - I guess my coworkers tastes are less refined than my own.(: My husband wasn't crazy about it either - said it tasted like blue cheese. It must be the capers.

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Very easy to prepare. Looks and tastes like something you'd get in a restaurant. I sprinkled cheddar cheese on top of each serving and had tortilla chips on the side.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

This would have been good, except there was enough pepper in it to kill a horse. Seriously, I would make it again, but next time only 1/2 tsp of pepper. We ate one bowl & our mouths were on fire.

Easy Alfredo Sauce I

very quick & easy to whip up & tastes great too. I added frozen chopped broccoli, canned mushrooms, angel hair pasta, and sauteed chicken pieces. It made an easy and delicious meal. Not for dieters!
