Fish Tacos

This recipe was flawless. The absolute best recipe I've tried on this site and I've been on here for years! I used Bud Lime for the beer batter. I also added lemon pepper to flour to dust the tilapia in before dipping in the beer batter. For the sauce, I did not have capers so I minced 1 tbsp of green olives. I used sour cream instead of yogurt. I used 1 tbsp dill pickle juice instead of dill weed. I also cut the cayenne to half of a teaspoon. It still had a lovely kick, but was not overpowering. I mixed the sauce with a prepackaged undressed coleslaw of cabbage and carrots. I put fish and coleslaw on corn tortillas garnished with a little cilantro. I served the fish tacos with homemade mango salsa and tortilla chips and black beans. My family went nuts over it. Will definitely be making this many, many times. Thanks for a great recipe! It was just like eating a phenomenal fish taco at the beach!

Butter Flaky Pie Crust

This recipe came out perfect with my homemade chicken pot pie! I even had to leave it wrapped in plastic wrap in the fridge for a couple of days before I could find the time to make the dish and it still came out flaky and wonderful! Whoever gave this one a bad review must have done something wrong. I wouldn't use this one for a sweet pie, but for a savory pie, you can't go wrong with this recipe. I used (small) cubed, frozen butter and ice water. Only had salted butter on hand so omitted the salt. Still came out perfect! Thanks :)

Best Ever Blueberry Cobbler

Oh my goodness, this is so good! I am a southern girl and have had every kind of cobbler imaginable. This is one of the best that I've ever tasted! I scaled down the recipe to a small corning dish (approx 3 servings). I'm grateful I did or I'd have went crazy and ate way too much. This is a fantastic recipe and I will be using it a lot this fall! I had to sub the O.J. for Trader Joe's blood orange italian soda (I didn't want to go to the store just for O.J.) I also put just a smidgeon of nutmeg in the crust (and I mean just a smidgeon.) Other than that followed this exactly. It came out perfection. Thank you for the great recipe!

Chicken and Dumplings III

Thank you so much for this great recipe! It's very versatile. Just like my Mom used to make:) I used Bisquick for the dumplings and 1 can cream of asparagus and 1 can cream of chicken (cuz that's what I had on hand). I'll definitely be making this meal many times over.

This recipe is great. Thanks! I also like to use Trader Joe's Soyaki sauce (basically the same thing plus seasame seeds. Great for tofu, too:)
