Being the pastry chef at the best fine dining restaurant in Boise for 3 1/2 years, and getting third place in the Best of Boise.
My cooking tragedies
One of the worst was trying to make a treasure chest cake for my daughter's pirate birthday party. The fondant recipe I used started falling apart at the last second and did not color very well. It ended up a pinkish patchwork treasure chest, but looked more like a strange pink building.
