It turned out to be great! But I had to make slight bit changes due to a restriction of what I have home. (Yeah, I was baking on Christmas day to bring some to my sister's.) I used frozen raspberry instead of fresh blueberry, which is not much change. The biggest change was using a dozen rosebud shape mold instead of 8 large muffin. In order to fit into these smallies, I made 10 rosebuds with no crumbles. Yeah... I had to give up on these crumbles which many of you say that's the best part of this recipe. Well, next time, I'll strictly follow the recipe! Anyway, as I had to give up on the buttery crumbles, instead of using 1/3 vegetable oil only, I use vegetable oil for half of that and the other half, I use melted butter to keep some good buttery taste and smell. And I took some advise of adding a tsp of vanilla extract. It turned out to be very moist and not dense muffin. Since I lost the hand written old muffin recipe that I loved, I was hesitated to try any new recipe but from now on, I'll used this. And again, I'll try the original recipe with crumble next time for sure! The pic is the one before I put some powder sugar for cosmetic upgrade : )
