Sweet and Sour Chicken I
This is good base for a sweet and sour chicken recipe. My family loves Chinese food and found this to be bland.

Asian Orange Chicken
My family has a weakness for orange chicken, and they enjoyed this recipe a few times already. Preparation time is a bit lengthy, so we make at least enough chicken & sauce for two dinners and freeze the balance for later consumption. It reheats well if you add a bit of water to thin the sauce and do not bread the chicken. We save some preparation time by skipping breading the chicken. If this is your first attempt at Asian take-out recipes, then be prepared to carefully follow the instructions and learn a couple new tricks. For example, corn starch should be mixed with luke warm water before adding it to a heated sauce for thickening. Otherwise, the corn starch will immediately form chunks. This tasty recipe is equal or better than the orange chicken I buy from my favorite local Chinese takeouts. Preparation time is lengthy, but can be reduced with some tricks. However, be prepared for a learning curve if you have never cooked Asian take-out.
