Chinese Lion's Head Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2014
I had to try this out tonight! Lions beat the Packers and just the Name alone was to add insult to injury to the hubby, who's a Packer fan in the family:( We LOVED! I used 8 cups of chicken broth instead of the 2 C. each of broth and water. I also baked my pork balls. Just what we prefer. Added more green onions and soy to our taste and some white ground pepper. I also just chopped the Napa cabbage and put in the broth until done. Added the pork balls and simmered about 10 minutes. Everything was so delicious! Loved all the flavors! We went back for seconds! Thank You So Much Lei Lei for sharing! Will be making again Very Soon! Oh! First time I ever bought Sesame Oil! I was shocked at the price! Wow!

Sarah's Applesauce

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2014
Made this tonight with organic Fuji Apples and used a teaspoon of sugar and several dashes of cinnamon. I used a immersible mixer to mash while still hot. This is a keeper! Thanks for sharing! Who'd ever think it was as easy as making mash potatoes?

Candied Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2013
I have been making these candied sweet potatoes since 1982. I only use 1/4 cup of butter and only 1 Tbs. Of brown sugar. I sometimes add crushed pineapple. The broiler is faster to brown the marshmallows. My Thanksgiving and Christmas wouldn't be the same without these potatoes:)

Hasty Chocolate Pudding

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2013
I would rate 10 stars! I wish I would have found this site 17 years earlier! I took gwendolyn028 suggestion and cooked it on the stove top, (since microwave watts vary) and it turned out perfect! Thank You Debra for the easy, delicious, recipe!
