I graduated college a few years ago and can't find a job. So, I sit at home and cook. Armed with my boysenberry Artisan mixer and non stick spatula, I'd like to become fast friends with Indian and Thai food.

Yellow curry, hodge podge cookies, various forms of stir fry.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I'm from Georgia so my family cooking traditions are very specific. My favorites are: collard greens, corn bread, and the all inclusive genre known as "Southern breakfast."

My cooking tragedies
My first attempt at Pho wasn't really a tragedy. It was more of a slight hiccup or bump in the road.

Chicken Biryani, Hyderabadi Style
I added a few extra spices: cardamom, turmeric, hing (asafetida) and left out the garlic. Also, I'm a vegetarian so I added chicken substitute, green peas, cauliflower and cashews. It's likely that my version is regionally confused but it's tasty.
