Red Skinned Potato Salad

This was a great potato salad. Got rave reviews and was all gone at the last party I served it. The only changes I made were to use 3 pounds of potato and I add some chopped spring onions. Definitely a keeper.

Homemade Garlic Basil Mayonnaise

Excellent flavor. I dont have a stick blender so did with an electric beater.(Just have to be patient). Also found that I needed to add more Dijon..for my tastes. I used the mayo on the Red Skinned Potato Salad found on AR. Awesome combo.

Southern Ham and Brown Beans

Tried this recipe for the first time....turned out great...definitely cook for longer. I added more water and cooked for nearly 10hrs and added a cup of brown sugar and some cumin. I'll be doing this one again.

Moroccan Tagine

Excellent Tagine. I made this with home made merguez sausae and served over couscous. Otherwise followed recipe exactly. If you can find flavor in this dish.....check your taste buds!

Classic Dinner Rolls

Made this tonight with the only variation being in rise times...I was in no rush so I let the first rise go for 1hr, then formed the rolls and let them rise for another 30mins. Brushed with milk and sprinkled some poppy seeds on top. Cooked for exactly 20mins. They came out perfectly...soft and fluffy. The are definitely on the sweet side, which is fine by me for a dinner roll. I think you could play with the recipe plenty...mixed italian herbs....bacon and cheese etc. I'll definitely use it again.

Summer Squash Puffs

Made this recipe as described with the exception that I pan fried them; as a result they came out more like a fritter. They were easy to make and tasted great, even cold the next day. Will make again.

Easy Chicken Satay

Great Recipe....highly recommend marinating overnight or as long as possible. I went 8hr and the chicken was very tender and flavorful. The sauce is excellent. Nice easy and tasty dish.

Marinated, Breaded Lamb Chops with Rosemary and Garlic

i reduced Worcestershire sauce to 1/2 a cup and add 1/2 cup of red wine. I marinated for 8hrs in a zip lock bag turning twice. I liked using the marinade in the breading process. I cooked placed directly on oven rack with a tray on the rack underneath (to save turning) and backed for 30 minutes. They were tender and flavorful. A little over cooked (we like as medium rare). The bread crumb did crisp, but did not brown. My only criticism is not with the recipe per say, mainly that all the flavoring really overpowered the lamb. We like lamb for the lamb. I'll definitely try this marinade on some beef though.

Banana Pancakes I

Awesome! I was in a hurry and did this as recipe plus 1/2tsp cinnamon and 1tsp vanilla extract. Came out quick, soft and fluffy. Easy breakfast for a family of four. Recipe is in my box now..forever!

French Baguettes

Easy & Tasty....I didn't use the bread machine...just did it in a mixing bowl by hand. For some variation, once the dough is rolled out spread some diced bacon, cheese and Italian herbs over it before your roll it up!
