Cheesy Zucchini Casserole I

Very Good! I made this because I had zucchini and didn't know what to do with it. I thought my kids would eat it, but they won't. I don't feel it's too healthy because of the bread and cheese. Seems more like a holiday side dish if I were splurging. It tastes like stuffing with zucchini in it. I used seasoned salt & garlic powder since I don't have garlic salt. I also used rosemary parmessian bread which was really tasty. I could probably eat the entire thing. It's good!

Scented Applesauce-Cinnamon Ornaments

Just made these with the kids last night! They were too soft to use cookie cutters on and transfer to a pan, even after adding glue, so I added flour. I did this before reading that people add more cinnamon to make them easier to handle. But the flour did the trick! They look beautiful and easy for my 4 and 7 year old to paint with acrylics. Such an EASY project. As for prep time..hardly any at all. We will make this an annual project.

Never Fail Pie Crust II

REALLY easy! I never made a pie crust before. My kids helped and we ended up with a beautiful apple pie with an attractive and tasty crust. I'm using this recipe again today!

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

This was soooo good! I want to make it again right away. I used a grocery store bought BBQ rottiserie chicken and shredded it up. Very tasty!

Sugar Cookie Cutouts

These are tasty cookies that are perfect for cookie cutters and decorating. They are strong and won't break when you decorate them. But they aren't too hard! Especially good when doing cookie decorating with kids who can be a little rough. This is my go-to recipe from now on.

Harvest Salad

This was the perfect blend of ingredients. I think crumbled bacon would be a nice extra in this salad and may try that next time. I found out Walnut Oil is expensive! I paid about $10 for a bottle and hope to find more ways to use it up. The dressing is awesome!

Fast Chicken Soup Base

Pot Roast in Foil

I LOVED.. 1) that I only had to buy 3 ingredients! 2) that it was so simple to make! 3) that it tasted delicious! I would make this again and again. This is good for family meals or having company over. If you plan on really serving 8, make more! I don't think this would be enough. I was happily surprised. Even with all the rave reviews I was worried the gravy this makes would be too thick and rich. It was perfect. I served this with baby carrots (made seperatly) and a little horse radish on the side. We eat moderate carbs in our house, so I can only imagine how delicious this would be with mashed potatoes, as the submitter suggests.

Herb Roasted Chicken Dinner

This was one of the easiest dinners ever. I used dried oregano, thyme, and rosemary, because I had it in my cupboard already. I also used pepper and cut a cup up clove of garlic because I also had that instead of pepper-garlic seasoning. My whole house was filled with the most wonderful aroma when this was roasting. This is very easy and I found it to be very inexpensive. (I hate when I spend more on ingrediants than if I had taken the family out to a restaraunt!) The taste could not be beat when it comes to roasted chicken. I will make this often.

Scallops with White Wine Sauce I

This is an amazing recipe! I made my husband these scallops with steak and veggies on the size for his birthday. A 'surf n turf' kind of thing. It was an incredible dinner! This sauce is so delicious!

Bread and Celery Stuffing

My husband said this was the best stuffing he's ever had! The only thing I did differently was I used 1/2 loaf of wheat bread and 1/2 loaf of white bread. The color variation was very pretty in the outcome. The only thing I regret is not making more! It's the only thing we don't have as leftovers after our Thanksgiving dinner.

Candied Yams

This was so easy and good I'm sure I'll use it for the rest of my life! I did add some vanilla and nutmeg before I baked it and I didn't use marshmellows. Everyone at my Thanksgiving dinner loved these candied yams!

Paul's Pumpkin Bars

This came out of the oven like a beautiful cake! I hated to slice this up into bars because the cake presentation was so pretty. I iced with the cream cheese frosting, let the frosting harden, cut into bars, then wrapped them up individually with saran wrap, and tied off the ends with pretty orange ribbon. I brought these to my friend's home in a cute Halloween bowl and everyone raved over these treats. These are so moist and delicious!

Baked Apples

This is so easy and quick! My oven did cook the apples very fast so 15 to 20 minutes would do it for my apples. I would use this recipe with any type of apple, not just granny. This is really great with icecream.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chicken Enchiladas V

I will start by saying that I'm not a big fan of recipes that contain cream of chicken soup, so why I tried this I do not know! I didn't care for this dish much. It wasn't bad tasting. It was just that the cream of chicken soup made it very rich and I missed the enchilada sauce that the cream of chicken soup seemed to be a substitute for. If you like cream of chicken soup in your recipes you will probably feel differently than I do about this one.

Egg and Sausage Casserole

Easy Valentine Sandwich Cookies

These are so pretty! I had to use a different frosting because the one suggested didn't work for me. I brought them to work and didn't want anyone to eat them because they look so CUTE! Oh..and they taste good too..not too sweet ..great with coffee.
