Butternut Squash Soup II

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2014
I had my doubts about this soup at first but changed a few things: 1. This recipe was very similar to the Cream of Red Pepper Soup so I used that one. 2. I cut the butternut squash in half and spread melted butter and maple syrup on both halves and put it in the oven. When it was soft enough, I scooped it out and added it to the soup mix. 3. Instead of using cream (too expensive for me) I substituted Evaporated milk. The soup was thick and creamy. The color was great and I still don't know which I like more - Sprinkled with nutmeg or black pepper. This soup will be made often along with the cream of red pepper.

Red Pepper Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2013
For a very HEALTHY soup, it so flavourful. I just love it. Hardly any effort to making it. Just too easy. I get great reviews on it when I serve it to people. Even they're surprised. Cost very little to make especially when you buy the ingredients on sale at the grocery store. I can serve 3 big bowls using the measurements given.

Buster Bar Dessert

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2012
Just like Dairy Queen peanut buster parfait. Now, that I know how to make the chocolate icing, will be switching it up to butterscotch and peanut butter flavour. And freezes very well and can last along time in the freezer - no need to rush through this dessert - can save some for next week.

Fruit Sherbet

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2011
WOW... Best sherbet I've every had. My friends were impressed with it too. SO SO easy to make and all ingredients are already in the fridge or cheap to buy. Great base for modifying the flavour also. You can use the flavours in your drinking/juice boxes that you buy. The only thing I did different was add crushed ice to the mixture before putting it the freezer. Looked just like ice cream when it was done.
