Lemon Pie Bars

Reviewed: May 31, 2011
these were great. I took a suggestion and thinking I would like more filling 1/2'd it again. I think we would have liked them just as written better, but I rate them 5 since that was my recipe change and they were delicious either way.

Brown Sugar Baked Beans

Reviewed: May 31, 2011
These turned out wonderful, the best from all the way scratch beans I have ever attempted. Zippy and sweet. I just guessed and did not add all the spice and sugar amounts to the letter, but made it easier on me and all the combos made them really great.

Easy Cheap and Yummy Casserole

Reviewed: May 16, 2011
Love this one. may not be the healthiest, but quick and necessary when pressed for time with ingredients which you probably already have. Plus it is cheap.

Scrumptious Strawberry Shortcake

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2011
These turned out great even though I had to use white wheat flour-being that is all I had-and I did as one reviewer just spread the dough in a 9x13 baking dish to make it easier.Just cut squares out, topped with the fruit and whip. Yum. Nothing left. I also did not use the cream of tarter since I had none as many had mentioned and did not seem to miss it.

Easy Sausage Strata

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2011
Because of how simply easy and the low amount of ingredients I gave this a 5. My family just never likes these things and I just was not at all hungry so it didn't go over well, but wasn't the recipes fault. People that love stratas would probably give it a five also.

Roasted Vegetable Medley

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2011
Pretty good. the timing was off on the vegs. They started to burn, but I caught it and also my oven runs different since it is gas, so might not be the recipe. I only used asparagus, sweet potatoes and zucchini, but was a new and different way to have them.

Potato Salad Deviled Eggs

One of the best deviled egg recipes I have ever tried. Even my son which does not like relish awed over these with relish included.

Easy and Elegant Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2011
Turned out great.I even ate my whole piece and usually do not eat pork well. I made homemade bread crumbs. Dried bread in oven and ground up in processor with Italian seasoning.( heaping tsp. with about 6 lg. slices of dried bread made whole cup of crumbs when ground). I poured olive oil and honey mustard dressing in a bread bag with about a tablespoon spicy brown mustard and marinated roast for about an hour, covered it in the bread crumbs and baked it according to the recipe. Unbelievable

Restaurant Style Chicken Nachos

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2011
Next time I will just bake the topping and pour the chips over it so they will stay crunchy. did not care for the way the chips softened. Other than that was pretty good.

I replaced the mayonnaise with cream of mushroom soup since a couple of us dislike it. Was a great way to use up asparagus I needed to use.

Cheesy Potato and Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2011
My family never likes chowder, but I love it so thought I would try it again. I added bacon to please my husband. I cooked the bacon with some of the margarine and stirred the vegetables in it.(celery and onion)I also added fresh green beans I needed to use up and cut potatoes in half. My family still did not really care for it, but they did eat it. I loved it Was so good.
