On Wisconsin Beer Brats

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2011
I made this w/Kielbasa! I did grill it first, according to some reviews, then into the pot it went. We didn't slow cook it and it came out perfect. Used 1 yengling and 1# of smoked Kielbasa then everything went into the pot w/sauerkraut last. Add caraway seeds and hit w/mustard after it goes into bowls!!! YUMMY!!! Thanks for this recipe! We devoured it!

Made this in a slow cooker. YUMMY! I used Black beans, Cranberry beans. I rinsed them and boiled them and covered them over night. I sauteed onion, garlic, red pepper flakes, & japs in EVOO and then it all goes in the slow cooker. Top w/Pico De Gallo or chopped onions, sour cream and cilantro! Thank you TOOBUSY2!!!

Spicy Black and Red Bean Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2011
OK, I saw this recipe and freaked out! I soaked 1 cup black beans and 1 cup of cranberry beans overnight. I rinsed and boiled them w/red pepper flakes, in chx broth; sauteed japs, 1/2 onion, & 4 big garlic cloves. I chopped 3 Romas and threw 'em in; had no carrots. Everybody now goes in the crock pot (high) 5 hrs-adding spices. After 5 hrs. I added Rotelle w/green peppers and 1 can of corn (drained) and 2 more cups of chx broth. Garnish w/chopped onion, sour cream, and shredded cheddar! Dip Italian bread in this and you'll freak out at the flavour/spices!!!

Momma's Marinara Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2011
This is GREAT!!! Italian sausage and ground deer works well too. I saute the onions, garlic, S&P in the grease from the sausage and after Bambi's browned well,. I just do it all in one big pot. I go crazy w/garlic and no one has complained. This is great sauce for everything; try it on meatball heros. Ladle/dump it on heavy and just love life! Cover and let it simmer all day! Thanks for this recipe B'D
