Quick Weekday Pasta

I used 2% evaporated milk, switched spinach for broccoli and doubled the amount of chicken and noodles. It was great!!

Chicken Noodle Soup II

Great recipe! I made a yield for 8 and as a variation I added 1 can of Cream of Chicken soup and subbed out 1 cup of the broth for water. (I also omitted the corn.) It didn't get too creamy-- just a little bit thicker consistency. Delish!

Slow Cooker Beef Stew IV

This was sooo delicious! Even my picky kids ate it. I followed it exactly except I marinated the meat for 3 hours in red wine and 2 tablespoons soy sauce. I also used half the onion and eliminated salt since I had used soy sauce in the marinade. The meat was really tender and full of flavor. I am tossing out all my other beef stew recipes!

Mom's Stovetop Pork Ribs

This was great. Like some of the others, the water took a long time to boil down. In the end, I ended up adding corn starch and making a gravy out of the bottom inch or so of liquid. Delicious!

This was great! I made it with shrimp and fettucine. I, too, used less oil- about 4 tbsp. Put the wine in with the herbs for about 5 mins before adding the sauce. Delicious!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

I used this recipe to make cupcakes and they were delicious! Changes: I used 2/3 cup oil and 1/3 cup half & half and 1/2 cup brewed coffee instead of water. They baked for 30 minutes. I let the kids ice them with store-bought frosting but I am looking forward to making this as a cake next time. Thanks for a great recipe!

Creamy Chicken and Mushrooms

This was quite good! Used evaporated milk instead of regular milk and baby portabella mushrooms. Served it over mashed potatoes. It was a big hit!
