Cranberry Gelatin Salad I

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2008
I love this cranberry gelatin salad! I made this for my family's Thanksgiving dinner this year, and even people that usually won't touch cranberry sauce couldn't get enough. I highly recommend using the whole berry sauce in place of the jellied... the berries add a certain something special to the contrast. Also, rather than simply sprinkling the pecans on top of the salad, I mixed them in well with the rest of ingredients to get a little in each bite.. delicious! Be sure to get as much of the juice out of the pineapple as possible, you won't be disappointed with the result!

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2007
This is a great recipe. I took this to my boyfriends Christmas party at his work, and the pan was empty within 20 minutes! Wonderful comfort food. Rich, warm, creamy and cheesy. The only thing I changed was the amount of parm that went on top. I used only about 3/4 of a cup, and I think it was plenty. All in all, easy to make and a pleasure to eat.

Carrot Cake III

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2007
Excellent recipe for Carrot Cake! I made this for a co-worker's birthday, and everyone said it was the best they'd had! I did notice that many reviewers made adjustments and substitutions, but I decided to follow the recipe without making any changes. The only thing I might recommend changing is the amount of confectioners sugar in the icing. 4 cups made for a very sweet cream cheese frosting. Half of that amount of sugar would probably be plenty. I also saved a lot of time by buying a 1 pound bag of baby carrots. I just tossed them through the shredder of my food processor, perfect! No peeling, no hand grating. Try this recipe, its wonderful!

Old Settlers' Baked Beans

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2007
Delicious! I substituted Bush's baked beans for the kidney beans, and I couldn't have been happier with how they turned out. I'm even making enough for 70 people next weekend for my fiance's grandparents 50th wedding anniversary!

Creamy Chicken on Linguine

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2005
This is such a delicious pasta dish! I make it for my boyfriend at least once every two weeks. I prefer to use the Kraft grated parmesan rather than fresh parmesan. The fresh made the sauce almost stringy, and the taste was not that great. Overall, this ones definately a keeper.

Slow Cooker Barbeque

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2005
What a great recipe! I let mine cook for about 10 hours, and the meat just fell off the bone. I used a chuck roast which ended up being really fatty. Next time I'll use a leaner cut of beef. I also sliced an onion and threw that in along with Famous Dave's BBQ. After I shredded the meat, I cleaned out the Crock Pot, put the meat back in and added new sauce. Fantastic!!!

Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2005
Very good. Not the exact cheddar bay biscuits we all know and love, but VERY close!! I make these quite often, and add a little butter, garlic powder, onion salt, and parsley to my batter. It really kicks up the biscuit. Naturally I still brush the melted mixture over them when they're finished baking. Again, great recipe! Thank you!!!

Fantastic! I absolutely loved the brown sugar and ketchup glaze. I've never enjoyed meatloaf more. I wil definately make this again... my boyfriend liked it so much, he made sandwiches out of the leftovers.

Lana's Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2002
Excellent meatball recipe! I took these to work and everyone loved them! I did leave out the soy and Worcestershire sauce though, and substituted them with teriyaki. Wonderful! Don't be afraid to add extra pineapple juice too!
