Mama's Asian Chicken and Rice

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2012
I have made this for dinner at least 4 times, the previous 3 times, the consensus has been it's too sweet. This time I finally remembered to decrease the sugar to 3 tbsp as opposed to 4tbsp(1/4 c) and I thought it was perfect!

This is a great rub on just about anyting! If you use this and it still doesn't come out great, it has to be the meat

Burger or Hot Dog Buns

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2011
Reading other reviews I was worried they might be "dense" so I added a tbsp of gluten to them and since I only had regular yeast a tbsp of that, they turned out wonderful! I was going to try a 1/4 of a hotdog (cause I baked them into the bun) and ended up eating the whole thing! They were nice and golden brown too, I have another recipe for buns but this will take it's place.

German Baby

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2011
only reason this wasn't a high review is that the butter ran over the edge and made a mess in the oven, it tasted wonderful. On the second attempt (which is in the oven now) I cut the butter in half and used almond flour, we will see : )

Southwestern Turkey Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2011
So low only because we modified it. Instead of making a cassarole we bought corn chips and ate it like a dip, needed a bit more flavor (but can't be sure because I couln't open the peppers).

Frothy Eggnog

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2011
Really good and not as thick as the store bought stuff, I did not make it "frothy" though, I thought that since I used whole raw milk it would be rich enough without the whipped cream, I did add the nutmeg to the mix instead of as a garnish.

Gluten Free Red Velvet Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2011
Very moist and delicate. I had a hard time removing them from the muffin tin, even though I greased them ( I didn't flour them and probably should have) I subed almond flour for the coconut only because I didn't have any.

really i would give it 10 if i could! MY husband and children LOVED this "pizza", we used to get these at P&C but since they have went out of business we can no longer. I didn't have any lemon juice so i used grapefruit with no one the wiser, i didn't have ham either, LOL so i used breakfast sausage and it turn out great.

I can't seem to make them thin enough, but they taste wonderful. I didn't have the right ingredients, so I used butter and they came out great.
