Heather's Cilantro, Black Bean, and Corn Salsa

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2011
This was excellent and a real hit when I served it to friends and family at our last gathering. I made a slight add in, which was to only use half of the Italian style diced tomatoes, and add half a can of fire roasted tomatoes. The char from the roasted tomatoes gave it a little something extra. Everyone gobbled it up, so I will be sure to make this again!

Green Chile and Rice Casserole

Thought this was great. It's a good way to spice up a plain rice dish. It was fast, easy and everyone loved it. Will definitely be making this again.

Garlic-Cheese Flat Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2009
This was absolutely fantastic. The whole tray disappeared in seconds! It was an instant hit with everyone and they begged for more. However I did make it using my pizza dough recipe rather than the store purchased dough. But I'm sure it's just as good using the pre-prepared dough. The other thing that makes this great is that it goes with anything, but can also stand alone as a tasty appetizer. It was also sooooo easy to make. Thanks Tom!

Hungarian Mushroom Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2008
This was very easy to make and I love mushrooms, but I think I was expecting this to be a little thicker and creamier. The parsley was also a little overpowering for me. But all in all, it was pretty good.

Sarah's Applesauce

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2008
This is a terrific recipe that's easy to prepare and tastes great. I have already made it four or five times and my grandson can't get enough of it when I make it. I use Gala apples as they are firm like a Granny Smith, but sweet like a Delicious apple. I also leave it kind of chunky which gives it a nice texture. This is better than any jar or canned applesauce, and it's a winner in my book!

Unbelievable Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2003
I made this the other day and it turned out to be very good. I did however find the directions to be confusing with regard to the mustard. In the list of ingredients you mention using PREPARED coarse ground mustard. Then in the actual directions when it comes to adding the mustard you refer to it as whole grain mustard. To me, prepared mustard is not whole grain, but ground up mustard that is creamy. I ended up using brown mustard because it looked closest to coarse ground. Could you clarify this in the recipe? Other than that, it's a great recipe!

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2002
This is an excellent recipe. It is delicious and so easy and quick to make. I have made this one several times and it is always a hit with everyone who has tasted it. The last time I made it, I added a 1/2c. dried cranberries to give it some color and tartness. This is definitely one you can add to your holiday recipes!!!
