Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: May 2, 2013
I found this a bit too greasy and would reduce the oil or butter or both. The flavor was really good though and it was simple to make.

Chicken Breasts with Chipotle Green Onion Gravy

Reviewed: May 1, 2013
A simple recipe that tastes like it took a lot more effort than it did. Instead of 1/2 tsp chipotle chili powder, I used 3/8 tsp regular chili powder and 1/8 tsp ground red pepper. The extra gravy tasted excellent over rice.

Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2013
This isn't anything fancy, it is simple old-fashion rice pudding. I had to bake mine for about 10-15 minutes longer but it turned out great! It also thickens up a bit while cooling so keep that in mind if you make it!

Aussie Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2012
I made this pretty much exactly as the instructions said. I had my doubts about it, especially after the reviews said to leave out the corn syrup. It was delicious just the way the recipe was written. I wouldn't change a thing and will definitely be making this again. My one concern with this recipe is it does take a long time to make. It isn't difficult or anything though.

Thumbprint Shortbread Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2012
I found these cookies to have an excellent flavor, but they were hard to shape. I added a little bit of water and that seemed to help. Next time I make them I will probably add even a little more water. These are very versatile. Instead of filling them with chocolate frosting, I filled them with peanut butter and then dunked them in chocolate.

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2012
I use 1 tbsp of the seasoning and 1 tbsp of flour per pound of hamburger. It doesn't taste exactly like packaged taco seasoning, but that isn't a bad thing. It tastes fresher and like actual herbs instead of salt and preservatives.
