ok, first time i made this recipe, using beef, i thought it was a fluke, so I made it again last night. No mistaking it, this is a wonderful recipe!!! i made two smaller pans, one beef one vegetarian. I substituted the beef in the recipe for 1 small can mushrooms, 1 can artichoke hearts, and one can chopped olives. so easy and it came out perfect. i made the recipe as is, but with half the meat in one dish, and the vegetables in the other. fit perfectly in the half sized glass pyrex dishes. i love it and will certainly make it often!
