Cheesy Green Bean Casserole

Did I miss something? Although this casserole tasted just fine, inside, it was like soup. I wondered if I should defrost the frozen green beans and drain them, however the recipe never mentioned doing that. What I ended up with was something with a nice cheesy crust, sealing in a cheesy soup, which included green beans. Not sure if I'll try this again.

Baked Ziti I

I changed this recipe a little. I used a combination of very lean ground beef and lean ground pork. After frying that, I drained and rinsed it under cool water to get rid of some of the fat. When making the first layer, I added grated mozzarella cheese on top of the layer of provolone cheese, but I forgot the sour cream! When it was done, I added the sour cream (I used fat-free)on top of everything on individual plates, and it still turned out very well! If I can mess this up this badly and it still is delicious, it surely is a keeper.

Classic Sausage-and-Pepper Grill

Well, I forgot that I have lost my taste for Italian flavored sausage, and that taste ruined this dish for my wife and me. It was overpowering. I might try it again with a sausage without the Italian sausage flavor.

Honey Mustard BBQ Pork Chops

Tonight will be the second time I have used this recipe. I used boneless country-style ribs, which are thicker, and excellent! To the marinade I added more prepared mustard, liquid smoke, and Cholula brand Mexican hot sauce (flavorful, but not too hot). Perfect! I then used the marinade as a swab. My daughter's whole family loved these ribs.
