Corrigan's Minestrone

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2011
This was fantaastic. I took the reviewers' advice of cutting down the amount of beans and I only added the pasta when serving so that whatever was left over, I could bottle and put away without it all getting soaked up. I've made this a couple of times and it has always come out a winner.

Quick and Easy Brownies

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2011
These came out really good and were SO easy to make. I took the advice of others and cut down on the flour to 1 cup. These do come out more like cake than like those hard thick brownies you may be looking for, so keep that in mind. Overall, though, very tasty!

Easy Shake and Bake Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2011
This was amazing! My son and husband couldn't get enough! I am so excited that I have a new recipe that is SO easy and so delicious for chicken. I cut down the margerine by half, but the next time I'm going to try olive oil and see how that comes out. I wanted to taste the recipe this way first before playing around.

This is the first time I've ever made broccoli and it was a HUGE success. I followed the readers' advice to cut down on the lemon juice....great and easy recipe!

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2011
I made this cake for my son's birthday and it got RAVE reviews. It is now definately my go to cake recipe. For frosting I used the Rich Chocolate Frosting recipe. Fantastic!!! I let both sit over night as others suggested. You should know that it comes out rather small (I used a 9x13 inch pan) so if you have a lot of people coming, you should make two of these and then use frosting to frost them together.

Rich Chocolate Frosting

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2011
This is the best frosting I've ever made. I cut the recipe down to 12 servings and used it on the One Bowl Chocolate Cake III recipe then let both sit overnight...amazing! I have to say that I had A LOT left over (just used it to ice the top and around the sides).

Sugar Cookie Icing

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2014
This recipe was great. I live in Israel and have no access to corn syrup so I used maple syrup instead (since it's made mostly of corn syrup here). I gave my kids new paint brushes and put the different colored icing in different cups and they painted it on. The icing hardened quickly. I will definitely use this again!

Sugar Cookies with Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2014
This dough was so easy to work with and tasty both with and without frosting. I didn't use the frosting from this recipe (I used the sugar cookie icing recipe to make). I let the dough sit for an hour in the fridgerator and it was perfect. Thank you!

Honey Baked Chicken II

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2015
This was so easy and so delicious!!! I received rave reviews from my family and my in-laws. I did listen to the other reviewers and cut the margarine in half, as well as cooked it in the oven for the first 30 mins. covered in tin foil and then uncovered it and cooked it until it was crispy, every once in a while basting it with the sauce in the pan. Thank you to both Gretchen and the reviewers.
