Chocolate Scotcheroos

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2014
Simple, chewy, and tasty. I recommend doubling the chocolate and butterscotch topping however. And best to eat when at room temperature.

Meatball Nirvana

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2012
Most excellent. I usually don't like meatballs but decided to try this out for a friend. They blew me away! I covered them in warm Stubbs barbeque sauce and the flavorful spiciness was perfect. One tip: Make sure your onions are diced small as possible. Otherwise they stick out, look unseemly, and tend to fall apart.

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: May 7, 2011
Super easy recipe to make. Taste was good, but not as tangy as some pulled pork sandwiches I've had. May depend on the BBQ sauce you use. I used Stubb's.

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

Reviewed: May 4, 2011
This was a unique dessert with a nice taste and lovely texture. However, the flavor did not stand out as much as I was hoping.

Irresistible Irish Soda Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2011
Thick and slightly sweet, this bread is similar in taste to corn bread. I'd recommend with butter.

Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2011
This was pretty good and fairly easy to make. I had two complaints about it though: the jam is very hard to spread evenly on the crumbly mixture and the taste was lacking in tartness. I'd recommend using a spoon to blob the jam all over the crust and a fork to smooth each little blob out over the mixture.

Orange and Lentil Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2011
This soup was great! It is hearty and flavorful without being too spicy or thick. I don't like most Lentil dishes, but I'm keeping this one.

Spicy Pimento Cheese Sandwiches with Avocado and Bacon

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2011
It tasted like salty fat. The creamy "sauce" was not even spicy.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2011
Excellent dish. The topping compliments the fish superbly. Make sure the butter is very soft, though, so it can be spread evenly over the fish.

Fettuccine with Sweet Pepper-Cayenne Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2011
This was a great noodle dish. Took me a bit longer than 15 minutes, but it was still quick. I would definitely recommend adding chicken. I would also use more parmesan, maybe a full cup. Aside from that, great!
