Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread
Made this today, very good..will make again. Made slight changes substituted orange juice for the water, omitted cloves, added 2 tsp of vanilla and 1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice. I ate it just plain, husband spread whipped cream cheese on his. May try a cinnamon/sugar topping next time or a glaze but delicious as is .

Swanson(R) Black Bean, Corn and Turkey Chili
This was great! made it up a day ahead of time (thickens it up and more flavorful)- I omitted the oregano (didn't seem to need it) and used a can of Bush's seasoned black beans and used honey instead of sugar-yum!

Aunt Anne's Sesame Cookies
Just tried this recipe today and here's what I did.. decreased the sugar to 1/2 cup, used 2 tsp almond extract, 1 tsp vanilla (I had made anise flavored pizzelle's earlier so did not want a duplication of flavor) refrigerated dough briefly. I did not need to use milk to make the sesame seeds stick. Baked for 15 minutes until light brown on the bottom. They came out airy and nutty with plenty of flavor. Next time I will try it with the anise flavor which I am sure will be fantastic as well. Thumbs up on this cookie!
