Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2010
This recipe was so delicious! My family raved about it. I only used marsala and wine and omited the sherry as I didn't have any on hand. I used 3/4 c. of marsala wine and next time will add more. I will also try a splash of heavy cram next time and more mushrooms.

Microwave Oven Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2009
This is a wonderful recipe! This was my first time making candy and was very nervous at first. I was so impressed by the end result. I decided to only mix the sugars in the bowl first and then microwave for 6 minutes. I took it out and then added the peanuts, butter and vanilla. I also decided to lay out parchment paper on the cookie sheet and spray that with cooking spray. It turned out so good! I'm giving some away for christmas!

Cabbage Beef Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2009
I really liked this recipe. I only have a few slow cooker recipes that I love. Like others, I also added 1 can of stewed tomatoes and and used 3 cans of beef broth instead of the buillon cube. I love cabbage I ended up using an entire head of cabbage. It turned out great! Will be making this again.

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2009
Very good recipe. The meat came out tender and moist. I also added a can of beef broth instead of water and added some fresh garlic. I also rubbed the meat with some garlic and onion powder and a little bit of garlic salt. Next time I need to remember to add a bay leaf and some paprika.

I made this for my son's 1st birthday and it was fantastic! I did cheat and used bagged cabbage instead of cutting up cabbage myself. It was a hit at the party! I would definitely make again.
