This was really good! I added 2 cloves of garlic, used 3 smaller red potatoes, 5 c. of chicken broth and 4 tsp. of chicken bullion granules. Will make again!

Vanilla Glazed Carrots

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2014
I doubled the recipe and it took the carrots 15-20 min. to get tender. I may try a bit less vanilla next time.

Sausage Egg Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2014
I skipped the "pastry" part as well. I froze it uncooked, thawed overnight, and it baked up perfectly in the morning.

Sour Cream Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2013
This was delish in the slow cooker! I used 4 thick, bone-in chops. I added garlic to the oil before browning them, mixed in lemon pepper and thyme into the flour, and poured the pan drippings over the chops along with the broth. I cooked them on low for 3-4 hours and then kept them on warm for a couple more... meat was falling off the bone!

Herbed Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2013
Great recipe! I had a 3-lb. boneless turkey breast. Cooked it on high for 2 1/2 - 3 hours, and it was perfect!

I just did 2 lbs. of ground beef with two envelopes of Ranch dressing mix. They were good, just not crazy good.

Simple BBQ Ribs

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2013
We gave this to a friend and she said the ribs were cooked to PERFECTION. Tender, juicy, and ready to fall off the bone. I boiled almost 4 lbs. of ribs for 45-60 min. and then put them in the oven @325 for 90 min. I put more sauce on after about an hour in the oven. Can't wait to try them myself!

Turned out great! Used 3 cups of flour and it was the perfect consistency! Used egg white instead of egg yolk.

Slow Cooker Western Omelet

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2012
This was pretty good inside of a tortilla as a breakfast burrito. I didn't like how brown the edges go. If I make it again, I might use the diced potatoes rather than shredded to give it a better texture.

Baklava

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2012
Awesome!! I made 50% more sauce, and they were dripping... but it was sooo good! Friends said they liked it better this way because they were so much more moist than others they've had. I used a variety of pecans, almonds, and walnuts.

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2011
This was AMAZING! Just the recipe I was hoping it would be! I doubled it, used 6 frozen, ripe bananas (squeezed some of the excess liquid out), and added an extra 1/4 c. of flour. I divided the batter between two loaf pans, one larger and one a bit smaller. The smaller loaf came out perfect, but the larger loaf sank quite a bit in the middle. I might try adding even more flour next time. Can't wait to make it again! *1/2012 - I added 3/4 c. of flour this time and both loaves came out perfect. *8/2012 - Added 1/2 c. flour... both loaves sank!

Great flavor, but I think I'd skip the water next time. Mine was a little too runny.

Creamy Summer Squash Soup

This was really good and very thick. I used fresh basil instead of tarragon. It thought it really tasted like a broccoli cheddar soup.
