Really really delicious with the modifications I made. I added 3 cloves of garlic. Most importantly, I used only 3 slices of bacon, half a cup of ham, and half and half. It was still so rich and decadent, but at least slightly less high in cholesterol. When a meal can still be rich and flavorful with a few, health-minded changes, I always support doing that. Try it this way, and if you really think it needs more richness, go for more bacon and full cream.
Served with toasted fresh bread and a salad. Yum!!! Thanks for the recipe.
