Pecan Pie
haven't eaten it yet so that remains to be rated but I'm sure it will taste fine..but it looks funny...almost like a Blondie brownie...not traditional pecan pie looking. I used the dark corn syrup too

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings
Hard to rate this. I tried what several raters said and added a can of veggies and used only one package of biscuits...also added a little cumin and garlic. Not overly impressed with the result. I think it needs both cans of biscuit, it does need to be cooked longer than the 30 min though. I also cooked mine in low for 4 hours and 3 on high, chicken was just right. The flavor was off though somewhere..kinda bland. I didn't want to add more salt so I have to figure out some spices to add and I don't think cumin the one. I will make this again but I think I'll stick to the original recipe but try some spices..

White Cake Frosting I
Definitely use the butter powder or do as other reviewers have said and use some butter in place of some shortening. I didn't have either on hand after making the cake so just omitted it. Just tasted like sweet shortening. Seemed a little greasy to me as well which wouldn't change with the butter powder. Easy though
