Greek Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2009
This came out very well. The only change I made was to use canned diced tomatoes with Italian herbs drained to replace the chopped tomato, parsley and oregano.

Green Beans with Bread Crumbs

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2009
This is a great recipe, though you can't mix everyhting together like it says...what I ended up doing after reading the reviews was spinkled the cooked green beans with the olive oil then mixed until coated. Then mixed all the dry ingredients and sprinkled just enough on the coated green beans. If I had added all the bread crumb mixture then it would be gritty, etc....but just a small amount makes it just right.

Chile Colorado

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2008
Started the recipe as is, but found that the it was bland and without much flavor. Ended up adding 1 tbsp of cumin and about 5 cloves of garlic (pressed...would add in the puree next time), with these additions it's a 4 star, but as is this recipe is only a 3 star.

Golden Yam Brownies

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2008
This recipe is great! I wouldn't tell anyone what was in the "brownies" until they tasted it and they couldn't believe it once I told them. Everyone went back for second servings. Very similiar to a carrot cake...delicious! (I made no changes to the recipe)

Pumpkin Crunch Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2006
My husband could not stop talking about this cake...he absotlutely loved it...and he is not much of a cake eater. Once he let other people try it, it was all the rave. It's a keep in my book.

Gingered Pork Chops in Orange Juice

Reviewed: May 1, 2003
The pork came out tender, but I didn't find much flavor. Probably just add more seasonings and it would be a great recipe.

Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2003
I really enjoyed this recipe, though my husband found it had too much lime, which is easily adjustable. It was really quick and easy, which is most important.

Tortellini Salad I

Got really great reviews from this pasta salad at a party. You can definitely change this salad with different stuffed pastas, which I tried and people also enjoyed.

Antipasto Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2002
My husband enjoyed this recipe more than I did. He likes the different meats used in this recipe, which is the reason I didn't like this recipe. I tried it at two different parties and got many opposing reviews, so you either like it or don't.

Sloppy Joes II

My husband loved this recipe. He especially liked the added sweetness with the brown sugar. I however am not much of a bell pepper fan, but still found this recipe very delightful.

My husband and I really liked this recipe. It was a real hit. It has a surprisingly mexican flair with the sour cream and tortillas.
