Iced Coffee

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2009
Excellent. Again, followed recipe exactly and I love it. It's saving me a lot of money in iced coffee this summer.

Zippy Burgers

I didn't add the red pepper flakes, but the flavouring in this was really nice.

Crunchy Peanut Butter Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2008
These turned out great! I did add 2 cups of the crispy rice cereal, and I found that I needed 2x as much of the chocolate to dip all the peanut butter balls. I also sacraficed a fork, bent it, and this was perfect for dipping and removing the balls once they were covered in chocolate.

Quick Spaghetti Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2008
Fantastic! I wanted a quick sauce to make dinner for my toddler and not only does he love it, but it's packed full of vegetables, so it's nutritious too. Thanks!

Iced Mochas

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2007
Very tasty, but I found it not "slushy" enough. I think next time I will blend on a lower setting. Thank you to Bonnie for your measurements (6 cubes = 1 1/2 cups). I went with 4 cubes in a 1/2 serving also. What I really like is that I'm lactose intolerant and I can use my lactose free milk in this recipe.

Peanut Butter Ice Cream

Reviewed: May 26, 2007
I also mixed it in my mixer and it turned out perfect! My husband loves peanut butter ice cream and this was his favourite ever. I found it made a lot and I had to make it in two batches, so next time I'll probably cut it down to 2/3 or so.

Strawberry Angel Food Dessert

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2006
Fabulous! Made it yesterday, already passed this link on to two people because they wanted to know how to make it too. I followed the instructions exactly as they are - made the angel food cake from a mix - and could not have asked for better.

Banoffee

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2004
I was really surprised this turned out the way it was supposed to. Indeed, the cans did not blow up like I thought they might, but you do need to top up the boiling water - every half hour or so. I agree on less ginger. I love ginger, but I used two teaspoons, and that was still too strong.

Make Ahead Lunch Wraps

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2004
I was actually surprised at how delicious these are. It's nice having lunch in the freezer - grab one and go. I think I may try adding a bit of salsa next time, for a little zip, but it really is fine as is. I found when portioning it out one cup per tortilla was about perfect. We also used whole wheat tortillas, which makes it that much more healthy.

Creamy Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2003
This is incredible fudge. I brought it to a cookie exchange and brought some extras for tasting and people could not stop eating it. It is so creamy (just like the name says!). Delicious!

Crispy and Creamy Doughnuts

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2003
It worked! I was so excited that these turned out exactly the way they were supposed to. The recipe made many more than 18 for me, and I also made doughnut holes. I didn't have a doughnut cutter, so I used a big glass and a shot glass for the holes. I ran out of glaze, but that is b/c I did not add enough water as directed - it was thick. But plain ones are good too! Thanks!

Spinach and Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2003
Excellent! I had never made a artichoke dip before, but a friend asked me to make one for a party, and it was devoured. I took other people's tips and I went 1/2 cup sour cream and 1/2 cup mayo, and I added a bunch of garlic. I also used marinated, already chopped, artichoke hearts, which actually made throwing this together a breeze. I will definietly use this one again!!

Adrienne's Cucumber Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2003
Delicious! I think my husband was a little skeptical when I put some cucumbers on his plate with dinner, but when he tried them he looked up at me "these are really good!". They do take like sweet pickles, and are really a nice light addition to any summer meal. Perfect as is.

Baked French Toast

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2003
I read the reviews, made a few adjustments, and despite that, I'm sorry, it turned out horribly. The brown sugar coating on top was just too much to handle, and we ended up throwing most of it out. Thank you anyhow!

Aussie Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2003
I think everyone else has said how good this is - I just need to agree. It is so amazingly delicious. The chicken was juice, and the taste was phenomenal. I would not change a thing. I think this is one thing I will make for company in the future.

Easy Punch

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2003
This was a huge hit! I was admittedly surprised. We only made half at a time though, as the we didn't have a container big enough for all of it at once.

Chocolate Mint Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2003
This went over huge! I ended up using peppermint extract and green food colouring instead of creme de menthe as I could only find a $20 bottle of the stuff, and I was not spending that kind of money on something I needed only a few tablespoons of. I think I should have either lined the bottom with wax paper or sprayed it with no stick pray b/c I had a hard time getting the pieces of pie out. But it was so incredibly delicious.
