Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2009
I made this according to the recipe with the addition of garlic and paprika to the topping. I grilled the tilapia fillets vein side up for the first two minutes, flipped them and grilled for another two, then finished them with the topping for three. Perfect!!

Special Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2009
These are delicious. Since it was my first time to make this recipe, I made it exactly as stated. They were a little more runny than I'm used to, so in the future, I'll use less of the wet ingredients. But they are wonderful all the same, and deserving of a five-star rating

Cream of Walnut Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2009
This was excellent and very different. It would be wise to check with your guests beforehand if they like walnuts.

Creme de Menthe Grasshopper Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2009
I used to make this years ago and lost the recipe. Similar recipes I tried never seemed as good, so I was happy to find this. So simple and always impressive!

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2009
This is the best! First time making it, so I followed it to the letter. It was so moist and flavorful. I even followed Connie Rempel's added advice and sifted some of the salt out of the onion soup, used cheese flavored crackers. My family is starting to think that I'm a great cook!

Boiled Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2009
This was amazingly good for something so simple. The best advice from another reviewer was to let the chicken cool in the broth before removing - it was extra moist and flavorful. I'll be on a boiled chicken binge for a while! Thanks!

High Temperature Eye-of-Round Roast

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2009
Amazing! I used an herb rub that I also found on this site and just followed the recipe. I'm glad I read that it was important that the oven door remain shut, because I would have peeked! This was so tender and moist, I could hardly believe it.

Sun-Dried Tomato Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2009
This was OK, but not something I could get really excited about. One garlic clove was definitely enough. I served it at a party, and one guest did comment that he really liked it, but it didn't disappear as other appetizers did.

Chicken Breasts Pierre

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2009
Huge hit. I took other reviewers suggestions and used red wine instead of water, and added chopped red onion and red pepper. Thanks for a great recipe!

WOW! I made this for a Superbowl party and everyone raved that it was the best they had ever tasted. Changes I made were so minor, they're not worth mentioning. I will be proud to serve this again and again. Thank you!

Quinoa Side Dish

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2008
I loved this. I used organic quinoa, so it had to be thoroughly rinsed so that it wouldn't be bitter.I sauteed the onions and garlic before toasting the quinoa, then threw it into a rice cooker with the broth and seasoning to finish. Amazingly good.
