Layered Peppermint Bark

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2011
I love this recipe, but I did modify it a little. Omit cream, and use a little bit of crisco in the chocolate when you melt it. The chocolate will set perfectly. Also, instead of putting the peppermint extract in the dark chocolate, use a little less, and put it in the white chocolate, to let the dark chocolate taste come out a little stronger, and take a little away from the sweetness of the white chocolate. My family loves this recipe with the peppermint in either the dark or the white chocolate. I personally prefer it in the white, but its all up to you. =]

White Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2011
Instead of butter or margarine in the chocolate, I use just a little bit of crisco when I put the chocolate in the microwave. It works just the same as butter, without adding, even just a little bit, any of the taste of the butter. =] My girlfriend loves sweets, so Im always looking for new ways to make candy and sweets for her. =]

Cherry Chocolate Bark

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2011
I changed this recipe all up when I made it. Melted white chocolate chips, crisco, and cherry extract for the bottom layer on the baking sheet. Then I melted some semisweet chocolate chips with a little crisco for the top layer. For the topping, I crushed hard lifesaver cherry candies and lightly pressed them into the top of the semicooled chocolate. I left it in the freezer overnight and it turned out perfectly. =] Hope this helps.
