I'm a WAHM(aka Work At Home Mom, for the un-savvy) of three beautiful little girls. My Husband is a member of the USAF, and he treats me like a queen. I've been cooking since I was about 7 years old and have always loved it. I remember the first cook book I owned was a childrens cook book, and the very first recipe I remember making was from that book, the recipe was called "Banna Boats" and my family raved about how yummy they were. I was hooked after that.
My favorite things to cook
By far my favorite things to cook are sweets! I am a Pastry Chef at heart, I love to create beautiful cakes and cookies,I love making pretty much anything with large quantities of sugar in it :)
My favorite family cooking traditions
From growing up I remember my Mom and Dad getting up early on Thanksgiving preping the smoker and putting in the Turkey. The smell of smoked Turkey meat will always bring back memories of holidays as a child. Now, with my own family, my favorite traditions are teaching my girls to love the art of cooking, and staying up late Christmas Eve to prep cinnimon rolls for the morning and then waking up early Chirstmas morning to fill the crock pot with Wassel and put the rolls in the oven before everyone wakes up so that the house is filled with the warm smells of cinnimon and apples while we open the treasures of the Holiday.
My cooking triumphs
My cooking triumphs are many lol, one of them was my first attempt at Ganche. It was Valentines day and I made a heart shapped cake and covered it with the recipe Ganche II, and then I sliced ripe strawberrys and lined the edges of the cake with them, YUM!
My cooking tragedies
One of my biggest cooking tragedies was my first attempt at making Chicken Fried Steak, the oil was too hot and when I put the steaks in the pan they burnt up and filled my appartment with smoke lol.

This is resturant quality! I served it over a bed of angel hair pasta covered in a garlic olive oil sauce and then topped with more cheese, it was just to die for!
