Butter Cream Frosting II

I've been using this recipe for years. This is really good on sugar cookies (cut-outs). Everyone raves over the frosting and always asks for the recipe. If you have a lot left over - it freezes very well. I let it thaw in the refrigerator over night, then let it sit out for a few minutes prior to frosting, give it a good beat and it's ready to go.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Usually not a big fan of banana muffins, but these are excellent. Great way to use up older bananas. I made the same alterations K. Lynn did, but also added chopped pecans to the batter. Yum!

Fluffy Pancakes

Very good. Batter was thick and yielded a fluffy pancake with good flavor. I doubled the recipe and added 3/4 tsp. vanilla extract.

World's Best Pasta Sauce!

I have searched so long for a pasta sauce that the whole family would agree on. This is the one. It is so yummy and easy to prepare. I add oregano, and substitute extra tomato sauce for the tomatoes because that is my family's preference. I also leave out the meat, and put it all in the slow cooker with the Easy Slow Cooker Meatballs recipe also on this website. I have used it for lasagna too.

White Almond Wedding Cake

The only thing I did different was use 3 whole eggs in place of the egg whites, and made into cupcakes (makes about 28 - I baked at 350 for about 21 minutes). Frosted with the Smooth Buttercream Frosting recipe from this website(added scant 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring to the frosting). These are delicious!

Potato Latkes I
