Wow, this was really easy and really good. I was a little loose with the recipe: not enough lemon juice in the house, so I finished the 1/4 cup with OJ; regular white vinegar instead of rice vinegar; regular onion instead of green onion; white sugar instead of brown; a little more fresh ginger than it called for. Usually I like to try a recipe exactly as it is, but I had to use what was in the house. Also, a previous reviewer mentioned using slices of orange peel instead of just the zest, so I did that and it came out great. This is a keeper, and next time I would like to add broccoli, as suggested by another reviewer, or maybe bamboo shoots, steamed carrots, or the baby corn.
